Can any one tell me where I can find info about supercharging a 2000 Xterra that was not sold that way originally. I have a 4x4 5 speed and want to add the Eaton Supercharger that is supplied on the factory supercharged automatics. I just want to know if it is possible and if there is any out there who can fill me in on what you need to do inorder to do it right? Thanx

I wonder how big a super charger you can put on the X. I mean why try and emulate the stock SC when you could blow its doors off with a bigger supersharger... You might need to put a hole in the hood and maybe cover it with a hood scoop.

I bet that little 3.3L could handle 17 or 18 psi of boost, maybe more with a little work.

This has been talked about a bunch, hence the search reference. They started putting the SC on the X's in 02.

Now, if you have found one from a company other than Tonemonday.com, I would like to hear about it. More power is always a good thing!

Here's my Eaton 3rd generation M62 SC on my 2001 Frontier
I can reach 9+ PSI without any trouble or even pushing the engine.

On STOCK internals? You might be pushing it a little. This is no Supra.

If it pings with 12 psi, why would you want 17-18?
