The only thing you will notice with either one is a different sound. The Catback is much more than just the muffler. But no matter which you decide you wont notice any difference other than the sound. Save your money and keep it stock. Instead of a catback, install a new stereo.

Well, yeah you're right. But I'm not talking about just running off the manifolds.

All I'm looking for is a good sound for the 4.0L. If I don't lose power, I'd like to just buy a muffler, and have it welded in. If I probably will lose power, then I might as well purchase a whole catback system, instead of just a replacement muffler.

Hmmm...the cat back's are about $400-600.

If all you are doing it for is the sound, for that $, why not just make a recording of the sound you want, and play it as you drive?

--I've said this before--you can't REALLY fuck with your state laws, but if you pay somewhere between $350/450 for WELDED catback--FLOWMASTERS DUAL 50/??40 series you're OK and you're legal-=JIMBO
