OK - I now have a Dual Friction Centerforce Clutch, and, 4wd.

Originally, the tech accidentally busted the t-case shifter dropping the tranny, so I was in 2wd for a few weeks...

Review - the clutch feels like the stock one, despite about 90% more clamping force...the pedal effort feels the same as stock....and it goes in/out with about the same feel as well, not grabby, etc....very smooth.

laugh

So - It was cheapest to get from 4x4rockshop.com, they beat AC and Calmini by quite a bit, as in $339.95 including shipping. (Free shipping)

So - except for not having the time to install it myself, and having the truck out of action for about two weeks more than the one day it takes to do the clutch for a shop, I'm happy.

Glad to hear it finally worked out TJ.
Did you mention that the shop broke your t-case gears also, so they have to buy you Calmini's? laugh
4x4Rockshop kicks ass. I only dealt with them for my CO2 stuff didnt need anything else at the time but great place though.

Also.. 4x4parts.com (AC) also price matches. They price matched my rear ARB locker and compressor (ok4wd price) with no problems. Just give them the website and they will normally match it.
They probably would have matched the clutch price too.
Just something for future use. Enjoy the clutch! [Wave]

I was happy they called the tech a liar and fixed the t-case shifter.

laugh

He pulled the 100 mm holding the lever on, released the pin, and the shaft popped off. Once they opened it up, it became obvious it wasn't broken before hand.

I did ask for an estimate on the t-case gear install...being an eternal optimist.

laugh

They do all off road/ 4x4 work, diffs, trannys, etc...but had never gone to Calmini's web site, etc.

Bwah Ha Ha HA!
