I searched to see if anyone has advanced their timing on their X to get better performance... I see a few that have. I've got NGK PFR7G-11 plugs (one heat range colder than stock), and I run 93 octane gas 100% of the time. Stock timing BTDC is 10 degrees +- 2 degrees... Has anyone seen any adverse affects by advancing to 15 degrees on an '03 SC? I advanced it (using a good timing light), and the difference in performance is amazing. I did not hear any pinging or knocking, and will check after more driving for a knock sensor code. BTW, I'm a seasoned VG30DETT tuner, so I'm not new to any of this...
