If you're looking for a performance change, your answer is no. If you're looking to upgrade your entire exhaust system and the manifolds, then yeah it would be good idea. If you're looking for your truck to purr slightly louder by all means do it, it's a fun easy install. Depends what "worth it" is to you. I installed one and a catback exhaust and if i had a choice, i do it again.

You won't get the desired effect of any intake upgrade until you upgrade the exhaust as well. More air = more exhaust. From what I've read and learned most say to upgrade exhaust first then the intake. But it is nice to get a little more "growl" when you get on it.
