So I used my father's Zaino on my new X, and it looks amazing! but I'm wondering what people use on the plastic parts to protect it from the elements and keep it looking its best. There's a lot of exposed plastic on this, and I want to do my best to take care of it.

Also interior plastic if anyone has had particular success with a specific product.

thanks,

Thanks for the replies. A rana search, but came up with interior products (which I'm also interested in), but was more concerned with the exterior plastic. I figure that's going to take more punishment than the interior stuff.

Thanks, I'll check out that Back to Black.

To save exterior plastic-
Simply remove all exterior plastic, put into garage, and see how much better the X looks (at least the '01) without all that BS plastic all over it. Plus, if it is the garage it will stay nice any shiny until you put it back on to sell it.
I hate all the plastic, but everybody is different...

For exterior and interior plastic, nothing better than Aerospace 303 protectant. The protection will last at least 3 car washes.

the zaino can be used on the plastic. It is a polymer not a carnuba wax so it wont turn white, I do it to mine and its amazing...after a run to the beach the bugs just wipe off, no gooey mess. I love zaino

I use Mothers "Protectant" ordered from www.waxstation.com It soaks in to block all the damaging UV rays without leaving a greasy film and is supposed to be good for 30 days.I've been using it on all the exterior moldings and the interior plastic with great results.
