I've had some dried up glue on the outside of my glove compartment from the tag that says "this car is equipped with air bags" or whatever it said...How can i get that off?

WD-40 also works really well. Spray on a rag first and then genlty work off the residue. I talked with body shop fellow in town and he also said they use if often to remove sticky residue. He also said it is safe to use on painted surfaces.
