I know there has been a lot of talk about Zaino on this board the few times waxes and polishes come up. I haven't really seen many pics of the results though. Just thought I'd post some of both my X and the wife's Impreza. I love this stuff!

Subaru 1

Subaru 2

Subaru 3

Subaru Youtube

Xterra 1

Xterra 2

Xterra 3

Ok, enough annoying links. Just thought I'd share in case anyone was on the fence about it due to its price. Definitely worth every penny in my opinion(I only got and used the "all-in-one" since these are daily drivers and not show cars).

Looks good [ThumbsUp]

Your a more patient man than I. I'll Zaino a Miata, but not an Xterra - it's just too freaking big!

Well, since I only used the all-in-one instead of layering all 98098725 items they sell(definitely worth it though if you have the time from what I've seen), it really didn't take that long. Goes on pretty easy...but then again I have no kids and the wife was visiting a friend this weekend, so I had nothing else going on.

I've been using Zaino on my cars for years now. It is the ONLY product I will use, period.

zaino is amazing stuff..incredibly easy to use and last for so long. I got the spray on stuff for a final step and its amazing what it does.

I tried an experiment on my Super Black 350Z - any other color use whatever you want ... black is always the hardest color to work on. I have over $300 spent on a Porter-Cable random orbiter, every Zanio product made, a half a dozen micro-fiber towels, a de-ionizer and every swirl remover made by the big manufacturers.

I did a side-by-side-by-side triple treatment on my hood and saw zero difference between the Zanio and a much cheaper NXT product. There was no difference in wear over the months since the application. I upset a whole bunch of people at My350Z.com but the truth is the truth. I still buy Zanio products but they're not "all that".

NXT lasted all of two weeks compared to six months for Zaino. I'll stick with Zaino.

Everyone will have different opinions on what to use for a protectant. I have seen vehicles that have been detailed with Zaino, Turtle Wax products or Meguiars and all of them looked great.

I for one use Meguiars products and will continue using them. I feel I can get a better look and NXT for me last much longer than 2 weeks.

To each his own on the protectant.

NXT does look good but it's the duration of the product is what I'm after. Zaino has provided that
better than the others I have used.

One thing I like about using Zaino compared to Meguiar's is that Zaino produces a lot less "dust" when you wipe it off than Meguiar's does. Meguiar's tends to clog up my wax-off towels more quickly.

I don't seem to have problems with excess dust. Remember to use a very thin coat when you wax/protect a vehicle.

Well, I've used many a wax in my short number of days(only 25), the length of time that I've seen Zaino last is why I've learned to love it.

I've used NXT and it really does provide an excellent shine and gloss. I was not impressed with the length of time it lasts though.

Prior to buying the Zaino, I had tried the black magic liquid wax. It worked pretty good as well.

To each their own and I see no problems with other waxes / polishes. Whatever you think looks best on your vehicle is all that matters. And hey, we're talking Xterras, so it doesn't matter what is used, they're all sexy!
