Hi All,
Does anybody know of any links to help me to change the bulb in my 05 X? I'm not sure how and did a search to find out. I only came up with debates over the best bulbs. Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brice

I don't know how the '05 differs, but on the '00 it's pretty easy to just look at the back of the headlight and see how it goes together. There is an electrical connector to unplug and then there is some sort of wire thing that snaps on to hold it in place.

Just take a good look with a flashlight and I'll bet you can figure it out.

You can buy replacement bulbs at any decent auto parts store. It should be easy to replace.

Just don't touch the lens of the new bulb with your bare fingers while replacing. Something about the oils from your fingers causing the bulbs to burn out quickly.

Don't know if it is really true, but when I changed mine, I wore a tight fitting clean glove on one hand just to be on the safe side. laugh

Link is good, unscrew 26029 MB 1/2 a turn or so. It's white, don't drop it. Replacement is a 9007 dual filiment halogen bulb. Unscrew, unplug, take out, replace, plug in, screw in and you're done. I'd take pictures but i'm at work.
