Can I wax my stock step rails? My old X had spots that I could not get out all over the step rails and the rook rack. I thought that waxing might help.

Waxing textured aluminum paint probably won't work too well.

Soft bristle brush and warm soapy water. If spots are small, try an old toothbrush.

Ian, oleblue, thanks. Just hoping to prevent whatever happened to my old X.

Simple Green and a brush cleans them up like new again.
