Why do the front hubs not have the Nissan emblem to match the rear? Thomas

Canope,
The front center caps are cut out for the free wheeling hubs. Can you fit the other center caps on there? Dunno, but I'd bet if you could, Nissan would have put them there...

I think you can. I stuck a closed cap in the front just to check, and it seemed to fit fine.

The solid center caps do fit fine on the front. The cut out ones are more than likely made that way to help let a little heat escape from the free hub....and so you can tell it's a 4x4 from a distance.

Phew. and I was wondering why the thief took the front 2 and left the rear 2.

I am admiring a 2003 Supercharged in a mall parking lot, when my girlfirends says..."your's is better, this one doesn't even say Nissan on the front wheels it says Automatic." laugh

Anyways, the reason there is no emblem is in the case you have a 4x4 with manual hubs, you'd have to get out of your car, stick your hand through the hub covers, switch the hubs from free to lock and then be able to engage into 4x4 mode. I guess Nissan decided to leave it as the standard set and let everyone know you have a 4x4 with automatic free-locking hubs.
