ekh Member Registered: 07/01/02 Posts: 102 Loc: Baltimore, Md.	Hi, Has anyone adjusted the parking brake on their 2002 X as yet. Mine is in need of some tightening and thought I would check here 1st. Why does the brake cable need adjustment after 7900 miles. Well we have a driveway on a 45 degree angle and brake gets slammed everytime. No putting the truck in gear won't stop it from moving. I actually put it in 1st one day without the brake and it was turning the motor!!!. Thanks, Ekh. _________________________ The marksman hitteth his mark partly by pulling, partly by letting go.

OffroadX Member Registered: 17/08/00 Posts: 13694 Loc: Baltimore, MD	The adjuster should be along the frame rail under the passenger front door. 2 nuts, one is the locknut, the other the adjuster.
