Looking to confirm my steering problem before I spend money and time.

About 9 months ago I posted about my steering becoming hard to the right only. I cleaned out the gunk, changed the fluid and the belts and it much improved. . . until this past weekend. Now it is hard as ever. I'm wondering if there is a valve in the box that works the rt turn and is blocked. Can anyone advise on flushing, or maybe backflushing it out?

Also, I lifted the front wheels and the steering is free both ways with the engine on and off. I was thinking it should still be harder if it was the gearbox, especially with the engine off (but not).

I had the exact same problem.
Fixed it by swapping out the steering box with a junkyard one.
Works like a champ now.
I got 105k miles out of the stock box, and running 35's made it die a little faster.
