Does anyone have any experience with service departments in Seattle? Good or Bad. I need to take my 2001 SE in and would appreciate any suggestions.

Hey Ras, don't know where you're at, but I just took my 2000 XE to Performance Nissan in Everett for its 30k. Great service. I don't know how they compare in price to the others, but I have read other posts here about Melody's (Kirkland) not having the best service. I wasn't too impressed with the guy I talked to at Pacific Nissan (on Westlake) either. I'm still looking for an independent shop that knows X's as they seem to have better prices than the dealers, so if you find one, let me know!

I'm in Seattle and bought my car from Pacific Nissan. I do not care for them at all. Everett is a little far for me to take my X, so I might try the dealership on Aurora. Thanks for your reply.

I would be interested in finding a good Xterra mechanic in Seattle/Bellevue too.

We might be able to arrange a club discount and direct some customers to whomever turns out to be best.

Melody's (bellevue) has been pretty good for me. I had a lot of questions and they always made me feel good about my truck, even though I bought it froma friend in Maine. Everett has a pretty good servicce dept. but doesn't carry most parts for the X in stock. Bellevue is a bit bigger and more high end. so their prices may be higher, but they also have more and better stuff in stock. just my $.02 .
