They buried that puny little filter on my X (4-cyl) behind the alternator and crammed a bunch of heater/AC/fuel injection lines all 'round it. Almost impossible to get to. Giving real thought to a filter relocation kit, but haven't been able to locate one yet. The Frontier, Quest and Xterra use the same filter, so one for the Frontier, if I'm ever to find one, will do the trick. Anybody know who makes one?

They make these kit, there is one that can be fitted for the XTerra.

Just passing you the information, i have never used their products (not because I have something against them, just did not need to relocate an oil filter).
