Hello all,

I just purchased a Terra and wanted to do a tune-up myself but I havent gotten a factory manual yet. And at $250+ Im not sure if I will, even thou I would love to have all that info.

Anyways would any one know what the factory recommended spark plug gap is for the 6 cylinder NA engine?

Any other pointers for attempting my tune-up? I will be swapping the plugs/wires, cap/rotor, fuel filter, and air filter. It seems the plugs are gonna be a pain in the arse! And fuel filter might not be that forgiving either?

Thanks in advance!

Be carefull going after that 6th spark plug. Make sure the engine is cool (your probably have to sit on it to get to the plug).

Thread on how to get to that pesky 6th plug.

It's an Xterra, not a Terra wink

Anyway, the gap on the single-tip platinum plugs is 1 mm (.039"), and 1.1 mm (.043") on the double-tip plugs.
