Need help i remeoved the screws for the cover but it seems to be stuck to the outside of the truck. Is it attached by clips as i did not want to pry it off thought i might crack the case.

There are two posts that fit tightly into two holes on the opposite side from the screws. You just need to pull it firmly and the light housing will come off. (You might need to carefully pry it with a flat instrument to get it started)

Make sure you pull straight back and not to the side
