Interesting photos... care to explain what is going on? Is the cop trying to pull you out of the sand, only to find himself stuck as well?

I think that's an Xterra . . .
If only they would make today's models more distinguishable . . . like, oh, maybe a sticker or something . . .

My english is not very good, (I'm a french-canadian) but, here the story behind that pic : The police officer is a friend of mine, and he asked me to pull his police car out of the sand.... but I got stucked too... after we called a "tractor" (not sure about that word) cause we needed some help... and he got stucked too... It took 3 hours too take out of the mud the 2 cars.

LOL, that's pretty amusing. That tractor looks like it's having some tire problems of it's own! It would've been pretty funny if it got stuck also..... well maybe not....

The tractor got stuck too... that's the reason why I took a picture of it, because it was so funny to see the two cars plus the big tractor stuck in the mud. It happenned beside a river in an Indian village in the north of the province of Quebec... the police car went there just to see the hunters during the duck hunt season. (Sorry if my english is bad)

Gadzooks! Is that a Nissan Xterra? Just kidding... So, if the Ford, the X, and the tractor all got stuck, how did you all get out of there?

Your profile says "2001 Electric Blue". Was that a color in 01? Not busting your chops, just curious. I knew there was a denim blue.

That's not a Nissan Xterra ! hihi We asked another friend to come with his Ford F-150, he brought some wood boards and a mud shovel (Hope you'll understand mu english) Three hours later, the police car and my Xterra finnally get out of the mud... The tractor, I don't know how they got it out of this shit, that wasn't my problem ! :-)

In french they call this color "Bleu Électrique"... so if I translate this color in english it's called "Eletric Blue"... maybe I have the wrong color name... but this was one of the color available in the Province of Quebec... Because I think USA and Canada doesn't have the same color choices.

Nissan Canada has used different names than the US and still does. No "super black" there, it's "ebony", "granite" is "pewter" there, etc.
Incidentally, they have "camouflage" up with "limited availability" on the nissan.ca site, but the US is still waiting for it as a "late availability" color. Meanwhile we have "canteen" already. They look the same online, and have essentially the same RGB values, so I figure they're the same color and our camouflage will be a different shade.

I think the biggest problem I'm having with this whole thing is: Why the hell is the tractor about 60 yards away from you guys? It's obvious that he never went any closer than that either, since there is only tread tracks behind him... I see the pictures but it's making no sense to me. It also looks like your Xterra is front wheel drive or something (due to the fact that the FRONT is bogged down in the sand)... I'm confused as to whats really going on in that situation.

Front wheel drive only Xterra's do no exist.
The tractor probably never even got closer before it got stuck.

Usually when driving forwards, the front end falls into the soft spot before the rear...
