I agree....definate dumbass. I hate to see people driving down trails with no forethought on what's coming up. They just assume they are modified, and can drive over anything. The guy just dropped down into the hole, couldn't make it, and backed up w/o thinking about his surrounding or the limitations of his truck. Damn Heep owners...oh. nevermind. John

When the truck its approaching at the begining of the video, it seems to me that the truck its so unstable, jumping all the way... I guess that the lack of doors, hood and rear bumper represent a lack of weight that make the truck so unstable, plus the tire at the roof, plus the unsafe driving... Since the truck fell to the right side of the guy, he fell also to that side and get hurted. Did you notice that he´s holding something with his left hand? One hand offroad driving = problems ... A lot of exemples of what NOT to do...

Dang that sucks! What a waste of a well build jeep. As far as the doors...Better trail visibility! I've wanted to rig up some half doors on the Xterra for some time but the cost of getting another set of doors and having them custom made doesn't make much financial sense:

100% driver fault. What a shame, that was a very nice Grand Cherokee.
A lot of off roaders take off their doors for better sight. Lot's have a tire on the roof. On the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee you have to cut front and rear fenders to fit any tires about 31" if you want max flex... Unless you lift 8" or more....
Nice rig, too bad the driver got overconfident.

That ZJ is very nicely built and is driven by a very experienced driver who pushes his rig hard. You can read more about the roll, and what caused it here . - Matt

Some exceptions, unavoidable, unless driving dangerously slow: A jumpy deer in tight driving conditions, a sinkhole, a collapsed bridge (ala Okla. last year), rocks falling in your path, a blowout in tight driving conditions, (as long as the driver doesn't slam on his brakes), a lightning strike...other "acts of God."
