where were those trails? looked like snowmobile trails to me.

Up near Creemore, most of the pics are actually taken on concession roads. Snowmobile trails are still out of bounds till the end of the month I believe.

Ah I see you made it over to see my filter mod My K&N water bag system wasn't up to the task and got uhm....a little damp. Put the sock on to keep stuff from going in till the filter was dry

awesome pics man, questions for ya though, one of the pics of the yellow fronty, i noticed that theres a winch mounted on the front but no winch bumper, hows that setup work? is it possible to mount a winch on an X without a winch bumper like shrock or arb etc?

Couple things. Thats my kind of off-roading, preferred over rocks.

1. Someone get those ThornTurds off that white Cherokee; they'll get you stuck every time.

2. Are the MT Claws on backwards on that yellow Frontier?

How did the Claws do in the slop? I've got them and think they compare with the TSL's I used to have. I just dont see that many people running them to ask.

Yah I had to winch the cherokee out, but then again we all needed winching at some point.....we just stood in ahh every time the XJ started as it got destroyed in the deep holes....the guy just joined our convoy, and asked if he could muck in with us....not a bad guy.

As for the Fronty with MT Claws they do really well...here's Steve's response:
"OK, I will have a look at their site later today. Yeah my back claws are on reverse. I have spoken with some Heep people as well as one of the 4x4 shows on Spike Tv and they all say that you can get a lot more traction with them in reverse. I haven't done the front ones because I have also heard that you can get a little too much traction if the wheel spins then hooks up, you get a snapped axle. So far I have only done two runs with this config but so far I am realy happy with it. I cursed those damn tires all winter but now with the mud I am very happy."
