A guy in West Pa Xterra Club has made about 5 versions of this bumper already. I got it put on 8 hours before leaving for ECXC, but didn't take any "poser" shots of it....so here are some trail shots.

Nice [ThumbsUp] . Looks like a modified "sheep" tire carrier. Spooky here in AZ has one similar.

Looks good and I like it!!! Can not tell from those pics but does it block the third brake light?

I have been stopped because mine does. Was able to BS my way out of it telling him the mod was coming.

Maybe your state does not require it be visible?

He's been very busy as of late making them. He just does it in his spare time. Price right now I "think" is between $750-800 beacause of steel prices. I have the second one he made. Very stout and well made.

Here is the lates one he made for himself without the hi-lift or Jerry can holder.

He can make it with or without a hitch.

he's not advertising any. He just does this in his spare time....takes him about 6-8 weeks to do one. Powerguy38 has one as well. He has sold them for the price around $750 for the full package. No two of them so far have been exactly alike....some w/ jerry can holders, some w/o, CB ant. w/ or w/o...different liscense plate mounting points....etc.

He's not looking to reproduce any more for a while...though people have given him orders....he's said "no". The people at ECXC were really impressed w/ them (all 5 were there).

I am NOT advertising his product here, so please do not lock this thread for "not paying for advertising", I'm just showing you guys my new purchase.

edit: dang it, Dana, you beat me to it

it does block the 3rd brake light, but one can be added VERY easily

however, you can see the light from it very well....and "part" of the actual light.

Just buy one of those receiver hitch brake lights at Autozone or wherever for 10 bux and you have a cheap quick 3rd brake light.

Top Shelf: Thank you!!

Alpine Spirit: I just went out and snapped some more pics of it.....the bumper is pretty dirty...the powdercoat on it is more shiny than the pain on my X usually.
