Very, very, very cool. One thing I'm wondering though -- what looks to be something sort of like the prerunner bumper on the khaki Xterra...it looks like it hinders the approach angle, no?

We're lucky that we have some of the best 4-wheelin' in the world right here in our back yard. Originally posted by spalind: Was part of that up near Mt. Sneffels? Yes. We were in Ouray, CO. Mt. Sneffels is roughly 7 miles away.

Just got back from there week before last... what a great place. Poughkeepsie Gulch was definitely the coolest/hardest trail we did there - with Black Bear having the highest pucker factor. This lake was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen....sigh:

I agree. Finally I can take off work whenever I want and money isn't so tight. This would be perfect timing for my first GOX.

man, that looks just really bitch'n. You guys look like you're really having a good time. I love Colorado; get back there every year but haven't seen that part yet.
It's definitely now on the wish list of places to go.

I need to quit being lazy and download my pics. Ouray is amazing! The trails aren't all that challenging, but that just means it is a little easier to enjoy the senery. However there are a lot of veryyyyy steep drops (like black bear), so you still have to pay close attention of course.
