Just a little clip of this past weekend's fun at Barnwell Mountain Rec Area in east Texas on the Texas Nissan Trucks club-sponsored trail, Whatever (incorrectly called Twister in the video).

I came in a bit too steep thinking it was safer from a rollover perspective and ended up plowing a little dirt... and getting a little more wheel-in-the-air action than I intended - but it worked out okay. If you listen closely you can hear the air solenoid blow off when I disengage the front ARB. I LOOOVE that sound

ETA: If anyone is wondering, that's the Calmini exhaust... I think it sounds pretty durn good.

That "hiccup" noise that your truck makes while going up the hill, what is that? My truck does that when I come to a hard stop all the time.

Annoys the shit out of me.

I cut that out of the middle of THIS 80MB video for those that can't see it... it starts 3 minutes in.

I'm not sure what that occasional hiccup sound is - but I've heard it on other Xterras so I'm not too worried about it.

The longer version played great.

Wheeling during those tremors was impressive, every one acted as if there was no earthquake at all.

I have heard it on other Xterra's on the trail too along with mine. It started about two years ago on my truck. I just didn't think it was a normal sound. I think it is coming from the pinion shaft to ring gear....
