Hello Guys...

I have been monitoring this site for a while and finally decided to join...THANKS!

Question: I have 2000 Frontier CC V6 SE 4x4, I just put in a 3" Susp. Lift [courtesy of Automotive Customizers] and a 3" BODY LIFT from the same crew. I now effectively have increased the hieght of the cab 6".

CAN I RUN 33x12.50's on a 15x10 rim without much rubbing/cutting to the existing FENDERS?!?

Does the P/U have more clearance then the X under the fenders?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Much

Did you try asking this on the AC board (this is the Xterra Owners Club)?

33" tires on 10" rims is just asking for trouble. If you get a rim anywhere near the correct offset, you'll rub the control arms everywhere up front when turning.

If you get rims that stick out (like Nissan Mike's), you'll break or bend steering components on a weekly basis.

Your gearing will also suck.

Yes, what Ian said is all true. One of your first priorities is to change your gearing to 4.75 or something close to that. With 6 inches of lift, you might want to consider HD driveshafts and other HD driveline bits. How's the turning with 10inch wide rims?

The R&P gearing on the Xterra and Frontier is already 4.636:1 from the factory.

Longer driveshafts aren't required because the rear works fine with only a 3 inch suspension lift, and the front is IFS.
