Sorry to bring this up yet again but between this forum and SLR, I don't know what the hell I put on the front. My SLR invoice says 20% stiffer (like the stiffest, and for winch weight, etc) The invoice does NOT give a part number, sheesh!

The part # on the shock says H2 which several of you have said is NOT the 20% stiffer. Instead, I have read here that the H0 is the stiffer one. [Freak]

SteveG was going to call Bilstein but last I checked, no post from him as to the results of a phone call.

H2 is the stifer one . HO is OEM. H1 10%. I've seen it posted every which way of wrong a few times in the past couple of weeks.

B-46-1099-H0 Stock stiffness
B-46-1099-H1 10% stiffer
B-46-1099-H2 20% stiffer

You're fine.

I've seen the part numbers switched so many different ways it's no wonder people are confused.

According to Bilstein's website, here are the shocks that they recommend for the Xterra:

Make: NISSAN
Type: Utility 4WD (Standard Suspension)
Model: Xterra
Year: 99-01
Setting: HD
Front: B46-1099-H2
Rear: BE3-6422-H0

So what do the guys with the 02 order [Freak] ?

mudflap I think we're all confused. Funny that the web site would recommend the B46-1099-H2. In the end unless you need longer shocks for a lift I doubt you'll notice the difference no matter which version you get.

Yeah, the ones referenced on the web sites are the only ones actually made/valued for the Xterra and warranted by Bilstein.

I don’t know who originally came up with the stiffness references because B-46-1099-H0 is not a shock bilstein has listed for any Xterra. Mostly likely that part # is for the older nissan trucks.
