Now I have the bfg at´s 265 75 16 at my 2001 se xterra. The left tire it´s closer to the mudflap than the right side, check the pics...

I trimmed both sides of the front mudflaps, a little more at the front side of the left mudflap and its still rubbing at hard right turns and pressing the brakes (when turning right without pressing the brakes don´t rub)

what do you think? More trimming? something wrong with the truck? Its already aligned (front tires).

Today I´ll go offroad tho check the tires, with saw at hand...

Trim/shave the inner corner more. I used a block file to shave needed plastic away.

You should be able to run with the flaps but they can get in the way when off-roading so I ran quick discos flex Canadian ones before the upgrade to 33's.

I just trimmed the lip completely off, I found they were just collectors for snow and ice during the winter months.

OK, I can trimm more that flap, or remove all of it (both sides), but my main concern is why one tire is closer to the flap than the other?...
