Before you flame away, I know this tire has been talked about on and on but I searched for the things i was looking for and didn't have much luck. I want to get some new BFG AT's, I don't know a ton about tires and all i have read the info and realize i could put some 30's on the X without a lift and with stock rims. Does anyone have a picture of this so I can see what it looks like, I am worried it will look way to close to the sides and that would look weird. Also I hear a lot about 265/75-16's. I figured this would be a smaller tire what exactly are the differences, why are they more expensive? also with the stock rims do the walls look fat rather then tall or not to bad. Any info would be great, thanks everyone.

Your stock 265/70-16 tires are 31x10.50 already.
265/75-16 is 32x10.50, there are many threads and pictures of this size, many on request.
275/70-16 is available in some tires, that's about 32x11.0

I bought the 265/75r16 earlier this year and have been very happy with them. They can handle PSI up to 65, if you run them at 32-40 they will look fat and wear faster. I keep mine around 55 PSI.

Yellow X in front is BFG 265/75r16 (aired down for rock crawling~18 PSI)

55 psi? Are you out of your mind?
My 32x11.50-15C BFG ATs have a max pressure of 50 psi, but that's only for when the tires are supporting 2530 pounds apiece (load range C).
Your 265/75-16D tires are max 65 psi when supporting 3042 pounds apiece (load range D).
The Xterra doesn't weigh anywhere near 10,000 lbs, much less 12,000, so that kind of pressure is WAY outside what is called for under any conditions the tire/vehicle would encounter. Even if you loaded the X down with a bunch of crap, you'd be hard-pressed to put more than 3000 lbs. on an axle, or 1500 lbs. per tire.

By running such high pressures you're just asking for poor wear, HARSH ride, and reduced contact patch and traction. I got well over 65K out of my first set of 32x11.50-15C BFG ATs running at 30 psi, with very even wear across the tread. If I ran 40+ I would have worn them faster in the center of the tread and not gotten as long a useful life out of them.

Wake up!

Inside the door says 35 psi...

I run 'em at about 25 psi.

55??? That is nuts.
