im trying to figure out why the emergency brake cable keeps twisting the bracket sideways under the truck causing the little barrel to pop out..if i tie wrap it in the bracket keeps from twisting sideways and everything works great.but im baffled as to whats causing that little bracket to turn slightly sideways.the bracket im refering to is the one that seats the front cable and 2 rear cables together

I had to have the cable cleaned there was a ton of dust that had gotten inside and I was having the same problem. Both the one near the back wheel and the one under the dash.
