what does everyone think about the maxxis buckshot mudders. they look pretty good and have pretty dead treads.

it's what I run for light offroading, do a search and you'll find a few pics/posts by me and a few others.

It tends to dig a hole real quick if you sit and spin, but they're good in mud and on rocks. they are a bit noisy on pavement though, but it's expected with any mud terrain.

namely this one:

Even packed full of mud, they still pull their own up hills: (there's a buckshot in that pic somewhere)

they even do good in just 2wd laugh

and on rocks while wet

if you sit and spin 'em at 30mph for 5 secs, they dig a hole... if you're just slipping a little or light on the throttle it's not bad.

the pic of me going through the ruts was in 2wd wink

The MT-754 Buckshot Mudder is perhaps Maxxis’ most popular off-road tire. The MT-754 boasts an extremely aggressive tread pattern as well as a rugged sidewall in order to handle even the most extreme terrain. In addition, the Buckshot Mudder features unique self-cleaning lugs that ensure maximum traction at all times.

Here's a picture from Maxxis Tire's:
