With a larger master cylinder and line w/ more volume you could potentially run much larger tires than the original brake system was designed for.
I had an old Land Cruiser that I put larger tires on, after the big meats were installed the braking distance went to shit. I then rigged/installed a master cylinder from a newer model that came stock w/ larger wheels and tires and the Cruiser's brakes were happy again.
