I am going to replace my stock tires with a set of 265 75 R16 BFG AT's and would like to replace the spare as well, I think it is very important to have a full size spare.

Does anybody know if a 265 75 16 will fit in the stock spare tire location?

I know that there are aftermarket bumpers that have a rear, swing-out spare tire holder but I don't have the money to invest in one of those right now.

One additional note. There is a brake line running across the axle, jumping up at the diff. Make sure it is up and out of the way. When I put my 265/75R16 spare up in the well (admittedly with a rear hitch on the truck), the tire rubs the back of the diff. It managed to grab that line and rub it up and down the diff cover for a while before I noticed it (fortunately before it wore through the line).

I seem to remember pulling the line up above the diff pumpkin and using a couple of zip ties to hold it up out of harms way.

If you don't have the tow hitch, there's room for the 32...with the hitch, many people have aired the tire down to sqeeze it in there...and just use a pump to inflate it if they actualy need it.
