This is for my 2005 X, with about 50,000 miles.
Original brakes/pads/rotors/tires etc

Just had the front pads replaced and rotors resurfaced this morning at the dealership.
No problem, about right considering driving habits/conditions/mileage etc.

They said the rear pads didn’t need to be changed yet (as expected), and that there was 7 millimeters left on the pads.

I don’t know how many mm thick the pads are to start with, so that number is meaningless to me!

So...
How thick are the pads to start with?
- or -
I’m used to people telling me they a certain percent worn, so what would 7mm translate to?

Thanks!
