I was a previous owner of an 04, but recently got an 08 (S). Im curious about what would be a good tire/tire size for off road that works well and is semi quiet on road. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I will let a second gen guy help you out specifically, but i think most people run a 32 in. tire, but i belive you can fit a 33in on there by doing that "melt mod"

Awesome! That sounds like a great starting place for me to shop around. Thanks John!

sorry i mgiht have be tired when i read your first post.

are you asking for a specific tire or tire sizE?

i have the goodyear silent armor and love them! ice, snow rain dirt, mud, what ever i throw at it it keeps me going. I think they do a lot better than the bfgoodrich all terain ones in the rain, but snow and ice and dirt they are about the same.

plus i think the silent armors do better as far as MPGs go.
