so I finally went and upgraded my stock spare with a 32" BFG MT w/ about 50% tread - w/ a trade-in of the old one the total cost was only $40.00. My biggest worry was fitting it underneath w/ the hitch (the one that 'abacuses' or whatever sells on eBay - the tubular one). So fully inflated it wouldn't quite fit, so I dropped the pressure to about 24 psi and managed to fit it in there. After installing the concern was any brake lines, etc that were close to where it meets up with the 'pumpkin' area - so far so good, but I'm going to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't rub too much in the day to day movement of the suspension, etc. Anybody else stuff a 32" spare on there with a hitch - and have you had any problems?
