If this has been covered before I apolagize, but couldn't find it anywhere, and think it will be usefull.

I want to get the new iPod from Apple, to use in my X, but am not sure how to connect it. On the discussions about the iPod, I read that most stereos have some sort of extra port on the back you can use to plug an extra thing in (like a MP3 player). Does anyone know if this head unit does, or have suggestions on how to connect it?

Alex

No, your stock head unit does not have an Aux input.

You can however, buy a tape adaptor. This looks like a cassette with a stereo mini plug coming out of it. You plug it into your mp3 player and stick the "cassette" into the tape deck. You can find these at Radio Shack. Most people use them for portable CD players.

you can use a "sound feeder" which is an RF modulator. Probobly like 20 bucks or so at Best buy. It broadcast your Ipod over your radio.
