I have an older 4 channel amp that can be bridged to two channels. However, I am only interested in running a single sub off of it. Can I bridge the bridge? 4 channels to 2 to 1 for the sub or does it not work that way? Or should only one side of the 4 to two channel bridge be used if the bridged output is within the range of the subwoofer? I think what I am asking is can one of the two bridged channels be used while the other is not. Thanks in advance fellas- Bryan

yes you may bridge channels 3 and 4 while leaving 1 and 2 in stereo. If you are using 3 and 4 for a sub, check to see if your amp has a low pass setting for those channels. Should work fine as long as your load from the speakers are ok.( you don't want it too low)
