I finally got my sub amp installed the way I wanted it today...now that it's nice outside. I used an air nibbler and squared out the area around the driver side 6x9. I then mounted the amp "inside" that rear 1/4 panel where the 6x9 used to be. Then I was able to reattach the body molding. I had to cut out that little pocket and my rotozip got out of control so I'll have to clean up the gouge it left. Nice part is the opening exposes the controls and allows nice ventilation. Now I need to get the fiberglass enclosure finished on the passenger side to hold my 10w3. What do you guys think?


Kenwood KAC-923 Install

Looks pretty darn good but I would worry about that thing overheating. I am putting my amps under the front seat. Nice work.

Under the passenger seat I'll be installing a Boston GT40 (4x45) to power my mids and highs. Under the drivers seat will be a sirus tuner. That KAC923 won't overheat. Plenty of ventilation and it's got a fan inside also.
