I am purchasing the soundgate asn1 and an alpine MP3 6-disc changer and am curious if anyone has done this or can help with the installation. The soundgate is an interface adapter that plugs into the aux 12 pin in back of the factory head unit into any alpine cd changer. My questions are that I dont know how long the cable for the adapter is (ordered online) and if it is short, I dont know where to install the cd changer or how to install them? Do I just screw it into the floor under the seat? Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks

Typically these adapters plug into the cable that came with the changer, so u have the extra distance already..

If it plugs directly into the changer, then it should be long as a standard cable so u can mount anywhere within 10-12 feet length...

For soundgate, my guess is it will plug into the alpine cable you should have..
