Hello, just got my new 05X Friday and I need to mount my scanner.

How do I put this scanner:

Also, How do I remove this:


So I can mount the antenna wire behind it when I attach it to the rear left window?

Lastly,
If I were to drill holes here for the power and antenna wires:


How would I get behind there to hook them up and run them to where I need to go?

You would probably mount and wire up the CB while the piece in the picture is removed.

Leave enoough slack so you can work with the piece detached from the dash, mount it up with the screws supplied, run the wires through, etc, then put the piece back on.

Different year truck, but its the same principle I used when mounting mine in the 02...See cbinstall6.jpg in my sig to see what I'm talkin about...
