Has anyone bought and installed sucessfully one of these Aux input adapters?

http://www.logjamelectronics.com/soundauxniss.html
I bought one off of ebay, wired it up and it seems to work BUT...
The radio scrolls through cds/tracks while playing my XM, and after a little while it cuts out for 2 seconds, then continues scrolling through.

I also get a pretty good amount of engine noise through the speakers now.

I wired the Yellow wire (constant +12V as per instructions) to the Accessory outlet that on the dash that is always on.
And the Red wire (switched +12V) to the keyed cigarette lighter outlet in the dash.

My XM honestly sounds worse than the tape to CD adapter I've been using..

Any info would be greatly appreciated..
It is hooked up to my Stock 2001 XE Tape/CD (Clarion type) radio.

Apparently I'm not the only one with this issue.
LogJam forum with exact issue

Any ideas?

I tried it but it didn't work for me, then Logjam electronics gave me a bunch of crap for returning it, even though I supplied them with the email from their technician stating it would work, took almost a month for a refund, I would not order from them again. I instead installed a new Kenwood double din, love works great, very happy.
