I tried adding my rockford amp to the X, along with brand new everything. I found that the four channel amp does not get equal distribution of voltage on all four speaker outputs. I know that it is not the gain, inputs, or the amp. I am sure it is some kind of short problem. I know it is not the amp....Because the same problem is happening with my brand new rockford and my old one.

Are the speakers new too? I had a similar problem with a speaker that sounded OK, but there was an intermittent short in the voice coil.

Are you sure the voltages are uneven did you use a multi meter? If so test the resistance of all speakers, test the resistance of all inputs and outputs on the amp and head unit and any signal processing, then test voltage starting at head unit and working your way back to the amps. I know that some fosgate amps made in 99' had some problems blowing the negative buss?

Gearhead is right. I would bet that you have one or more speakers with a different resistance. It's not uncommon to have one 4ohm and one 8ohm in a pair. When I was working in a stereo shop a while back, we even found some that the resistance had been mislabeled!
