i know someone on here has 2 optimas isolated and so i was wondering if anyone know a good alternator to use, i was looking at Powermaster alternators but they dont seem to have one for Nissan's

Just be careful when upgrading. Many people haven't b/c of the stupid location of the alternator. It's down low on the engine, and prone to getting muddy and dying. I can name at least 6 NJAX people who've had theirs replaced. (some people will say it's because of bad driving. Sometimes, it's just from washing the engine. It doesn't matter) And the guy you're looking for who has the dual batteries is Vikram. He's in MAXC.

There is a company called PowerMaxx out of Georgia that custom built me a 225 amp alt, but you probably don't need that. But if you do, they're your guys.

Like I said in your other thread.....why are you thinking of such detailed mods...instead of like tires and suspension which actually make a differance and not how many lights, amps and watts you have running through your make believe Xterra?
