I know this may have been discussed in the past but I wasnt paying attention. All the Search results dont really answer my question.
My question is:
Why exactly dont the 2002 Nissan seat covers fit 2000-01 seats?
As far as I know the shape of the seat is the same except for the lumbar knobs.

Main thing I noticed is that the spacing between the holes for the headrest pegs was different. Otherwise I suppose they might fit, but I didn't even bother trying when I ran into that.

They will fit. When I went to the dealer to pick mine up they accidently gave me the older models without the holes and I put them on and noticed something was wrong. Took them back and got the right ones. I would say they are really worth the money if your continplating buying them. I love mine. They will keep your cloth in perfect condition and there is no worry about a little rain getting in a cracked window or you getting in the truck with a wet swimsuit on. I also noticed I havent seen any other Xterras around here with them so it sets you apart from the crowd.
