I'm partial to the Calmini bumper. It's heavier steel than the ARB. 1/4" plate between the uprights and 3/16" for the outer wings. If you get it plan on aftermarket torsion bars to carry the added load. I wouldn't worry about a new bumper unless you are planning to mount a winch. The stock bumper has better approach angles, is lighter and more aerodynamic for fuel economy.

FYI. Bumpers replace the entire stock bumper. Grill guards bolt on in front of the stock bumper and do little more than protect you from shopping carts.

There was an XOC member here who hit a cow going pretty fast (60mph???) and had basically no damage.

Another XOC member hit a washer/dryer in the middle of the road also going about 60mph.

I think both times they had an ARB bumper installed.

I forget the exact speeds though, and was just guessing.

Those winch bumpers are the strongest bumpers that you have readily available to you. You won't be disapointed.

It fits a 2002 so I think it fits a 2003, at least 95% sure. Any one know for sure.
