I've heard that when you install a pushbar you have to disconnect the airbags. Anyone know if this is true and the reasoning behind it? Thanks!

I assume by 'pushbar' you mean 'bullbar', right? Some are airbag compliant, some aren't. Most made for the X ARE, as far as I know. Theres nothing to unhook or change on the airbags when you install the bumper. The sensors are located elsewhere so you don't have to touch it.

The ARB is airbag compliant for the reasons that Burgpath mentioned. I didn't have to modify anything at installation.
