Ok, I did a search and nothing came up, so forgive me, I know this HAS been mentioned here before...

We're going camping near Aspen/Snowmass and bringing the dog - it's a bit snug in the back of the X for sleeping with 2 fully grown adults and a 75 pound dog with bad breath.

I've heard of a tent that will attach to the back of the truck, and I was wondering if anyone had more details, reviews, etc, for anything specific to the Xterra?

I have it... I have used it, it worked great... but most of the time i still sleep in a tent and keep my crap in the X...

its worth it if you sleep in the X.. works great with a double air mattress.. and it allows a lot of fresh air in, which will help with the dog... also increases interior space...

there is another version i dont know much about that connects the X to an actual tent... had i saw that before, i probably would have gotten it...

Bye a seperate tent. You'll be happier with it and have a ton more room. The above tent is what I have. It takes awhile to set up but, it's huge and I can stand up straight in it.

Cabela\'s carries this for 180.00 why don't you go ahead and buy it and the give all of us a full review of the fit and function. And with Cabela's being in western NE it should get to you in CO fairly quickly.
