Most people that are running a tire carrier bumper know that they definitely cover up your third brake light. My Skid Row w/ a 33" spare also covered up the first two letters of my plate in the position that they designated. So, being that both of these are violations in PA and it will not pass inspection, I managed to find this solution.

But...that has got to make it a pain in the A$$ to remove your spare, especially on trail...I was thinking of doing a similar setup, but with the license plate mounted on the swingarm towards the passenger side, and using a flushmount LED Trailer light in the spot where you welded (I think it's welded) the bracket for your license plate...

Oh yea, and how much???

Actually the bracket goes together like the spare carrier inserts into the bumper. It has a thumb-screw and holes to lock it in place and there is a quick disconnect plug for the wiring. My second pic shows this. You cane see the silver thumb-screw at the upper left, the yellow is a master lock, and the quick disconnect plug. It was $88 shipped to me in PA.
