Can anyone post pictures of how the tow hook looks like? I'm getting ready to purchase my tow hook and straps for the upcoming trip to Smyrna and Tellico with the Southeast Xterra Club. Any suggestions or pointers in what to purchase as far as tow hook and straps go? And installation guides? Thanks!!!

I have a tow strap in the back right now, but no hook... Since the strap is designed to stretch, I didn't want a 5 pound steel hook screaming through the air toward my truck (or my head). I bought a strap with loops at both ends instead.

What exactly did you want a picture of? The strap by itself or of where you would place the hook?

I think he means the tow hook like what is on the front of the vehicle. Not what is on the strap. Although that is what I thought of at first.

I'd like to have a picture of the tow hook...I know there are some guidelines in purchasing the right kind of tow strap, but wasn't really sure about how the tow hook hooks up to my hitch. Thanks for the responses --- DeFibVT - thanks for clearing things up
