After searching the archives, I'm asking for input please. What are the best mats for catching sand? Husky seems like overkill but I wanted to get some opinions. Thanks.

The nissan rubber mats are great. Nice deep channels while hold a great deal of sand.

Add my vote for the Nissan rubber mats. I put mine in just before winter last year and they were great for keeping all the slush/snow in the grooves! I can imagine that they'd work just as well for sand.

Might seem strange, but my local Kmart had rubbermaid bedliners for full sixe trucks for $15.00. I bought one and cut it to fit the cargo area and had enough left over to make floor mats. I plan to use them for the winters in MN.

Ditto on the Nissan rubber mats. They hold a lot, and unlike carpet - you can shake 'em out quickly and easily and even hose them off if need be.

I just got the Nissan rubber mats tonight. See like they will do a great job with snow, dirt, and probably sand.
