I've done a search and couldn't find anything worthwhile. I am looking for suggestions on what kind/size/power/etc. air pump to buy. My wife got a little ratty one from work as a free gift and it almost melted through the floor yesterday just blowing up an air mattress. (Although my wife was quick to point out just now that it did save us in Philadelphia 2 years ago when our Civic CX hatchback got a flat) I don't really want to spend a ton, but I would like something that can pump up the tires and the air mattress in less than a day! The only thing my search yielded was about air compressors (the big tanks that could drill a hole through a steel door) and that was a little more than I'm looking for!

ARB makes a nice unit
QuickAir 2 is my choice... I believe many have either/or

My Quickair should be here this week

Here are some links.
ARB pump

QuickAir 2

Expect to pay a reasonable amount for a quality product.

I've been deciding between the three Quick Air series and the ARB Compressor.

I've come to te conclusion to get the ARB, that way I'll already have the compressor when I get the locker a few years down the road.

I could be wrong, but the QA would work with the ARB locker as well. You don't have to go with the ARB compressor if it's not ideal for you otherwise.

Talk with Xtoolbox at SCCX. His ARB quit on one run. I never heard from him on what the problem was though. I have the QA2 and I like it. I think the QA3 has a faster rate but a lower PSI (can't run air tools). Really though, none of the electric compressors can run air tools well. But you will spend a few $ for a good one.
